Patchnote v1.1


Welcome, players! Many of you have been testing Katabasis, or at least its early stages, and we'd like to thank you. We're all very proud of this first version, and we're continuing to work hard to bring you new, improved versions, with a whole host of new content to extend the experience and implement all the ideas we came up with during GameJam! In the meantime, we'd like to offer you an update that we felt was important to correct the various problems preventing the build from running smoothly, so that we can deliver the experience as we had planned at the initial deadline. Patchnote V1.1:

  • We've reworked the way the controls are implemented, so that it's more intuitive, more comprehensive, and above all much more functional, especially in relation to the WebGL build;
  • We've fixed the life points system, which wasn't working and was preventing you from keeping track of your game;
  • We've corrected the UX/UI that was blocking some players' progress, notably on the pause menu;
  • We've also corrected the hitbox and sound effects of the fight against Cerberus.
  • Orpheus is now able to attack two beats in a row without projectiles colliding
